Heavenly Harvests Designs respects your privacy and works to protect it. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Heavenly Harvests Designs decorates porches, front entries, and yards with pumpkins across the south Twin Cities metro. Throughout this policy the words "we," "our," and "us" mean Heavenly Harvests Designs, and the word "you" means anyone who visits our website, texts us, or books a harvest with us.
This policy covers our website at theheavenlyharvests.com, our text and email conversations with you, and the services we perform at your home.
You share information with us when you text us, fill out a form, book a harvest, or ask us a question. That information can include:
Our website collects some information on its own when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies described in section 7.
We use what we collect for these purposes:
Texting is how most people book with us, so this section explains exactly how we handle your mobile number.
You consent to receive text messages from us when you text our business number, when you give us your mobile number on a form, or when you ask us to text you. We send 2 kinds of messages: service messages about your booking and your install, and occasional marketing messages about the season.
We never share your mobile number for anyone else's marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing categories described in section 8 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and that information will never be shared with any third party.
Opting out of marketing texts does not stop the service messages we need to send about a booking you have already made, such as confirming your install date.
Photos matter to this business in both directions, so we want to be clear about each.
When you text us a photo of your porch, we use it to recommend a design and to plan your install. We store it with your booking and we do not publish it.
We photograph the harvests we install, and we may use those photos on our website, on social media, and in advertising. We frame these photos on the porch and the design itself. We do not publish your name, your street address, your house number, or anything else that identifies where you live.
Tell us before your install date if you would rather we skip photos at your home, and we will simply not photograph it. You can also ask us later to remove a photo of your porch from our website and social media, and we will take it down.
We collect payment through a secure third party payment processor. Your card number and full billing details go directly to that processor, and we never see or store your complete card number on our systems. We keep a record of what you paid, when you paid it, and which harvest it covered.
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use them to keep the site working properly, to understand how people move through our pages, and to measure our advertising.
We also use advertising tools from Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram, and from Google. These tools let us show our ads to people who have visited our website and to people who resemble our customers. They set their own cookies and receive information about your visit.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and doing so may change how parts of our site work. Most browsers also offer a setting that limits ad tracking.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
As stated in section 4, your mobile opt-in and consent data is excluded from every category above and is never shared.
We keep your booking records for as long as we need them to run our business and to meet our tax and legal obligations. We keep your contact details until you ask us to remove them or until you opt out and we no longer need them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details in section 14.
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including reputable service providers and access controls on our accounts. No system connected to the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to avoid sending sensitive details such as full card numbers by text or email.
You have these choices at any time:
Depending on where you live, your state may give you additional rights over your personal information. Contact us using section 14 and we will honor any request the law entitles you to make.
Our website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has given us personal information and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our business changes or as the law requires. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of our website and services after we post a change means you accept the updated policy.
